What is The Screening Rooms?

The Screening Rooms is a Deluxe cinema concept, where customers can enjoy a luxury experience with table service, stellar customer service and spacious comfortable leather chairs.

The Screening Room Experience ...

The Screening Rooms will provide customers with an intimate and luxurious space where they can socialise and enjoy a film in comfort. A bar area will be available to all customers with a ticket which will serve a selection of drinks including champagne, wines and beers. The large seats are made out of leather to provide extra comfort and waiters will provide table service before the film. Customers who book online will have the ability to print their ticket at home or have it sent straight to their mobile via an e-ticket. Customers will also have the ability to choose their seats during the booking process.

How many seats does each screen have?

Each screen has between 30-40 seats.

What will be the cost of a ticket?

A top price ticket (Thursday-Sunday) will be £19 and the lowest price ticket (online matinee prices during the week) will be £9. All customers who book online via MyCineworld will receive a discount. The price of the ticket includes access to the bar before or after the film, table service in the screen before the film and luxurious leather seating.

Why is the cost of the ticket price so high compared to cinemas that offer a similar experience?

The Screening Rooms offers customers a premium cinema experience, with table service, large comfortable leather seats and individual tables, along with access to the bar and lounge area. We feel that the ticket prices reflect the luxury cinema experience available to customers at The Screening Rooms.

Can I use my Cineworld gift card at The Screening Rooms?

Yes, you are able to redeem Cineworld Gift Cards at The Screening Rooms. We will soon be introducing a Screening Rooms branded gift card that you will be able to use as well.

Will the screens be digital and have 3D capabilities?

There are 3 screens in total, all of which will be digital and have 3D capabilities. They also have the necessary technology to screen live performances such as theatre, opera and sport. In addition, the theatres have conferencing facilities including special lighting and podiums that provide the perfect backdrop for any type of business event.

Are there any age restrictions at The Screening Rooms?

The Screening Rooms will be open to all ages; however customers under the age of 18 will only be admitted for performances before 5pm. In the evenings, The Screening Rooms will be an over 18 venue.

Will customers be able to use the Cineworld Unlimited Card at The Screening Rooms?

The Cineworld Unlimited card is not permitted for deluxe cinemas, however the ticket price for Unlimited customers is £8. Unlimited customers must present their card at the time of purchase. Also, all customers who sign up to MyCineworld will benefit from cheaper prices online than at the cinema.
